This month our focus is on water quality. Most people assume that here in the headwaters of the pristine Rocky Mountains, our water is safe. But we have to work to protect our water quality.

Minimum streamflows, both the local and practical concerns, will be the topic of a Waterwise Wednesday session this Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Avon Public Library. The session begins with refreshments at 5 p.m. followed by a panel discussion from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
